Colin
continues to teach in the graduate periodontics program at UBC one day per month
and also conducts research at the University of Calgary in collaboration with
his former laboratory at UBC. His research focuses on ways to speed up wound healing
and investigating periodontal disease associated with Kindler syndrome, a rare
skin blistering disease.
Colin
is a periodontics specialty examiner with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
He
is married to Patty and has two daughters. He enjoys travel and has worked
as a dentist, dental instructor or dental researcher in Ecuador, Nepal, China
and Panama, in addition to visiting many other countries.
