Dr Ben Thomas

Dr. Ben Thomas was born and raised in, and around, Calgary, Alberta. He spent most of his early years in Crossfield, where he was active in his church congregation, various sports teams, and his local 4-H club.

After high school, he worked full-time for a year and then spent two years serving in a religious capacity before moving to the United States to pursue further education.

He completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University, where he majored in Neuroscience and minored in French. This is where he met his wife, Sarah, and started his family. He is the proud father of four children and is always trying to become the man they already think he is. He completed his Bachelor’s degree Summa cum laude.

He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (with distinction), Master of Public Health degree, and Specialty Certificate in Periodontics from the University of North Carolina. His training also included certification in Intravenous Sedation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

He enjoys working as a periodontist and is truly passionate about using his profession to provide international humanitarian service. He has spent a total of several months serving underprivileged people across the globe. When given the chance, he enjoys relaxing with his family, playing sports, or travelling to new places.
